Ofir Gendelman, the Israeli prime minister's spokesperson to Arab media has called the Arab Facebook generation through his twitter account in Arabic to send their questions in video to Israeli PM Netanyahu. Gendelman asked the Arab social media users to send their questions in any topic they would like to ask to the Israeli PM's official YouTube through email. This is another attempt by the Israeli state to reach for the Arab youth through social media. The Israeli government has already launched a Facebook page and twitter account in Arabic “Israel speaks Arabic”. The Israeli government has also launched an advertising campaign targeting Arab Facebook users to attract more followers to the Facebook page that is being followed currently by 85,737. The “Israel speaks Arabic” page has got 1,136 followers so far since its launch. “Israel speaks Arabic” pages in Facebook and twitter focus on the positive news from Israel and the contributions of Israelis from Arab origins and Arab 48 contribute to the Israeli community like singers and actors. Israeli PM Netanyahu already participated last March in “YouTube World view” Channel on YouTube that host world leaders and celebrities from around the globe
