Romario: Only Jesus can help in hosting World Cup
Former Brazil great Romario is not optimistic about his country staging a flawless World Cup, saying the 2014 tournament will only be successful if it receives a little help from above

Romario said in an interview published Monday with the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper that Brazil needs the assistance of "Jesus" to host a perfect World Cup.
The former striker turned congressman says "things are not going to happen" and "unfortunately there will be problems." He says he had initially thought Brazil would host the best ever World Cup but not anymore.
Romario also says "it would be a good idea" if Brazilian football federation president Ricardo Teixeira decided to leave his post heading the local organizing committee.
