El-Azbakia Police Station was not set on fire as reported yesterday by Ahram Online.
Ahram Online reported, based on wire dispatches, that the station was set ablaze when some 200 people tried to penetrate it in the wake of a man's death after a fight with a police officer.‎
Well-informed sources, as well as eyewitnesses confirmed that the police station was attacked and one molotov cocktail was thrown, but that the station was not set ablaze.
A police car, however, was confirmed to have been set alight.‎
