Algerian defender Madjid Bougherra has ended his career with the national team after their elimination from the Nations Cup quarters. Algeria slumped to a 3-1 defeat against Ivory Coast in the tournament's quarters on Sunday. The 32-year-old played 70 international games during his 11 years with the Deserts warriors. "It was my last game with Algeria," Bougherra said after his side loss to Ivory Coast on Sunday. "Thanks to coach, to the National team and all the Algerians." The Algeria skipper said that he is frustrated after his side failure in Nations Cup, added he is sure that the future will be better for the Algerians. "We are very frustrated after Ivory Coast loss." He added "It is the football law and we should accept. "We played well against Ivory Coast but we failed to convert many chances on goals."
