Egyptian security forces dispersed over 3,000 protesters who had gatherednear Tahrir Square on Saturday evening to protest a court verdict saw charges against Hosni Mubarak of killing protesters dropped. Security forces fired water cannons at protesters then followed them up with teargas and birdshot, according to an Ahram Online reporter at the scene. Tanks also rushed the protesters.
