Senegal unveil squad for Egypt clash in Nations Cup qualifiers West Ham striker Diafra Sakho features in Senegal's squad for African qualifiers for the first time
Senegal coach Alain Giresse announced on Wednesday his 23-man squad for their upcoming clashes against Egypt and Botswana in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers. The list includes West Ham striker Diafra Sakho despite his fall-out with coach Alain Giresse, who handed him his first call-up in the qualifying campaign. Sakho produced a string of fine displays with his side in the Premier League, scoring six goals so far. Besiktas striker Demba Ba has been left out due to injury. Senegal are second in Group G with seven points, one ahead of Egypt and three behind leaders Tunisia. They face Egypt in Cairo on 15 November before hosting Botswana four days later.
