Twenty-eight people died and 18 were injured when three microbuses crashed near Aswan on Monday morning, Al-Ahram Arabic news website reported. The injured were taken to Edfo general hospital, said health ministry official Mohamed Al-Weshahy. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi ordered an immediate investigation into the crash, the cause of which is still unknown. In August, nineteen people were killed and 17 injuredwhen two minibuses plunged into a canal near Luxor. Earlier in the same month, at least 44 people died and dozens were injured when two buses collided in South Sinai.
