Egypt's Ahly host Coton Sport at Cairo stadium behind closed doors

Ahly will face Cameroonian side Coton Sport in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final at Cairo stadium without fans in attendance, club managers announced on Friday.
"Ahly received a formal letter from the Egyptian Football Association that the game against Cameroon's Coton Sport will be played at Cairo stadium," read a statement on the Ahly's official website on Friday.
"The game will be played on Sunday at 19:00 Cairo local time (GMT +2)," the statement added.
The Cairo giants were trying to get permission from security authorities to allow fans to attend next Sunday's encounter with Coton Sport but their hopes were dashed by EFA.
Ahly already have one leg in the final after claiming a 1-0 away win. They are bidding to be the first Egyptian team to reach the final of the Confederation Cup, a competition launched in 2004.
