23 injured in Hurghada bus crash
A bus flips in Egypt's Red Sea tourist destination of Hurghada injuring 23

Twenty-three Egyptians were injured in a road accident in Egypt's Red Sea city of Hurghada on Wednesday.
Head of Red Sea Ambulance Authority Hosam Gamil said that a bus, carrying passengers, flipped on the road causing the accident.
Victims were transferred to the hospital.
Even though Hurghada is one of Egypt's top tourist destinations, it has seen a decline in visitors since the 2011 uprising that has led to political and civil unrest.
However, in recent months several governments downgraded their travel warnings to Egypt including Japan, the Netherlands and Spain.
Traffic accidents are commonplace in Egypt due to badly maintained roads and poorly enforced traffic laws.
According to a 2012 report by the World Health Organisation, road accidents kill about 12,000 people in Egypt every year.
Earlier in September, 42 Egyptians were injured in a similar bus crash on the Hurghada - Ras Gahreb road.
In May, ten Russian tourists were injured in a bus accident on the Hurghada – Safaga road on the Red Sea coast.
