The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Disciplinary Board announced suspension to Zamalek trio involved in a dispute which occurred during Champions' League Group A clash with TP Mazembe in DR Congo on 8 June 2014. Dominque Da Silva has handed three-match ban for "physically assaulting the referee". "The player ran onto the field at the end of the game to physically assault the referee and was joined by reserve goalie Abdelrehim Mahmoud and Hazem Mohamed Emam, who have each been handed one-match bans," The Confederation stated on their official website Thursday. Mahmoud and Emam were both hit by a financial sanction of $3,000 in addition to the one-match ban. The Cairo-based club, who are bottom of Group A of the competition with three points, are hosting Mazembe 27 July in the home round. They are playing Snouha Saturday in the Egypt Cup final.
