Man City's hero Yaya Toure dedicates goal for brother kolo
Published in Ahram Online on 17 - 04 - 2011

Yaya Toure said it should be accepted that "people make mistakes" after dedicating the goal that sent Manchester City into the FA Cup final to his brother and teammate, Kolo, who was suspended for a failed doping test
Kolo Toure is facing a two-year ban after testing positive for a "specified substance" that his former manager at Arsenal, Arsene Wenger, said was in a diet pill belonging to the defender's wife.
Pending a hearing into the failed test after the last Manchester derby two months ago, Kolo Toure was at Wembley Stadium on Saturday to see Yaya score the goal that clinched a 1-0 victory over United.
"I am very sad for him at this moment in time. He is a professional player and he wants to play," midfielder Yaya Toure said. "People make mistakes sometimes. It is part of life. It is part of sport. Mentally, he is a strong guy. He is the most important person in my life.
"Every time I speak with him he helps me. I dedicate this win to him."
The Ivory Coast international scored at the start of the second half, poking the ball between Edwin van der Sar's legs after calamitous clearing from the United goalkeeper and midfielder Michael Carrick set him up for the goal.
In the May 14 FA Cup final, City will face the winner of Sunday's semifinal between Stoke and Bolton.
