What did the 2012 top five presidential candidates do on Monday?
Three out of the top five former presidential contenders voted on Monday - with another boycotting and yet one more in prison

Reuters' Aswat Masriya news website reported on Monday what the presidential candidates of Egypt's 2012 election did on Monday, the first day of voting in Egypt's 2014 presidential poll.
--------
Mohamed Morsi: The former Islamist president is in Burg Al-Arab Prison near Alexandria, on trial for a myriad of charges including incitement to murder and espionage.
##
Ahmed Shafiq: Ahmed Shafiq remains in the United Arab Emirates, where he voted last week along with Egyptian expats worldwide. Shafiq, who lost to Morsi in the 2012 runoff vote, left Egypt during Morsi's year in power while facing graft charges, for which he was later acquitted.
##
Hamdeen Sabahi: The only contender to presidential candidate and former military chief Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, Sabahi voted at noon on Monday in the middle-class district of Mohandiseen in Giza.
##
Abdel-Moneim Aboul-Fotouh: Ex-Muslim Brotherhood member Aboul-Fotouh, who finished fourth in 2012, met with an EU delegation monitoring the election. He said he didn't vote, in line with his Strong Egypt Party's decision to boycott the poll due to what they say are the interim authorities' undemocratic practices.
##
Amr Mousa: The Hosni Mubarak-era foreign minister, who finished behind Abul-Fotouh in 2012, cast his vote in a Cairo suburb on Monday and is following the vote from his office, reported Aswat Masriya. Moussa is a vocal supporter of El-Sisi.
