Egypt's benchmark index has dropped 3.43 per cent to 5,118 points in the week's first day of stock market trade. Of 181 listed stocks, 138 lost value and 33 gained with 10 seeing no movement. Healthcare and pharmaceuticals was the only sector to post gains. Total market turnover was LE413,797,140. Foreigners played a much smaller role than in previous days, making up just 17.3 per cent. Egyptians comprised 76.2 per cent of traders and were net-sellers to the tune of LE7,291,287.
