The repeated attacks on the Egyptian gas line that is responsible for the export of gas to Israel are disasters, according to Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth. Egypt provides 40 percent of Israel's gas needs. The attack today is the sixth of its kind since the January 25 Revolution ousted former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. Three unknown assailants got out of a car and shot the gas line, the paper reported. An explosion occurred later leading to various fires, some reaching the height of 15 meters.
