ALEXANDRIA, Egypt: Egytian presidential candidate Hamdeen Sabbahi participated in demonstrations organized by Egypt's political powers outside Alexandria's Criminal Court today during consideration of the case against Khaled Said's killers. Sabbahi expressed his confidence in the justice of Egypt's judiciary, clarifying that the blood of the martyrs will not be lost, especially that of Khaled Said, one of the first martyrs who sparked Egypt's January 25 Revolution. Sabbahi added that he participated in today's demonstration because he believes that it is necessary for a person who wants to run for any public position to participate in the different occasions celebrated by the Egyptian people. Sabbahi began a tour in Alexandria yesterday and is scheduled to open a new headquarters for his electoral campaign today. He will also hold an electoral conference today.
