CAIRO: Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Mahmoud Eissa said he hoped to implement a Sino-Egyptian partnership reaching U.S. $120 million in the near future. He added that the Egyptian economy needs international support currently. During a press conference held by Brilliance Company, Eissa demanded Egypt's friends, including China, support Egypt's economy through increasing investments in the country. The minister witnessed the signing of the partnership contract between Bavarian Auto Group, the African Chinese Fund for Development and the Chinese company Brilliance. Businessman Fareed al-Tobgi said the partnership aims at expanding the industries related to cars through benefiting from the Chinese experience in this regard. He added that the project will provide about 2,000 job opportunities for young people in addition to supporting the Sino-Egyptian relations. The Chinese ambassador to Cairo said Egypt and China enjoy strong relations so cooperation will remain in different fields.
