CAIRO: Egypt's Attorney General, Abdel Magid Mahmoud, received a report from Farid Ismail, secretary of the Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Freedom and Justice Party in Sharkeya, accusing former President Hosni Mubarak of harming national security and violating the constitution by giving an Arab shiekh and his family land in Sharkeya for free. Ismail claimed that Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan and his family were given an area of 3,130 acres without any charge. He added that Mubarak used his power to violate the law and constitution and damage public property. According to Ismail, Mubarak issued decree No. 132 of 1990 which essentially gave people like Sheikh al-Nahyan the same property rights as Egyptians.
