Gas pipeline explosion

SINAI, Egypt: A large explosion occurred in a gas pipeline in Bir al-Abed in North Sinai. The gas pipeline transported gas to Israel, Jordon and Lebanon.
The gas pipeline exploded at the pumping station in Darwish village. It is unknown who caused the explosion.
"North Sinai is the first and most affected by the gas pipeline explosion," said North Sinai governor, Maj. Gen. El-Sayed Abdel Wahab.
"Many projects in north Sinai will be delayed because if the explosion," Abdel Wahab said.
