Mubarak awaiting German medical team

CAIRO: High level sources at the Ministry of Health denied the arrival of a medical team from Germany to treat the former President Hosni Mubarak at Sharm el-Sheikh International Hospital until now. Sources say what was published in the media about the arrival of two doctors is completely false, as confirmed by security sources in southern Sinai.
Adviser and Prosecutor, General Abdel Meguid Mahmoud, agreed to send a German doctor for Mubarak, at the request of his lawyer Farid El-Deeb.
German surgeon, Markus Buechler, was due to arrive at the hospital in Sharm el-Shaikh. He performed a gallbladder surgery on Mubarak in the University Medical Center in Heidelberg, Germany.
The source declined to comment on the medical reports that indicate Mubarak is suffering from cancer.
