Marine navigation has seen increasing profits so far this year. The ‘Maridive' company for navigation services shows an increase of its profits to $18.9 million during the first quarter of 2011. Profits during the same period last year reached $15.4 million. The reasons for the increase are high rates of maritime unit operations and members of large projects such as ‘Aramco' project in Saudi Arabia and ‘ONGC' project in India. The two biggest maritime units in the company are used in these projects in addition to divers, engineers, technical crews, and many helping units. Work is continuing on the Aramco project in Saudi Arabia. A large part of the project will soon be completed. Meanwhile, ONGC project in India is facing some difficulties. The work there is behind the timeline. The project is expected to be finished by the first part of 2012. Many maintenance and installation of marine facilities projects will be held in Egypt and other countries.
