Ismaili decided to appoint Emad Soliman as new head coach for the rest of the season, in the wake of the sacking of Dutchman Mark Wotte. Ismaili had parted company with Wotte on Thursday, following the goalless draw with ENPPI in the Egyptian Premier League. "Soliman is to take over. We informed him of the goals we are trying to achieve, including staying in contention for the league title," Ismaili's vice-president Hamad Moussa told FilGoal.com. "The board of directors has unanimously welcomed the decision, because we all have faith in him and his ability to get the team back on the right track." Ismaili will play their next league game at Gouna on Monday.
