Mido-less Ajax played out a 1-1 draw with AC Milan in a pulsating UEFA Champions League Group G encounter at Amsterdam Arena while Real Madrid snatched a 1-0 win at Auxerre on Tuesday.
Egyptian nomad Mido, who rejoined Ajax last month and hasn't made his second debut for the Dutch side yet, wasn't named in the squad as he's still struggling with fitness problems.
Luiz Suarez and Mounir El-Hamdaoui combined well on 23 minutes to give Martin Jol's team the lead.
The in-form Suarez dribbled past a defender in style before sending a short cut-back towards El-Hamdaoui, who made no mistake from close range.
The visitors brought the score level eight minutes from the interval when a Seedorf magic touch released fit-again Zaltan Ibrahimovic, who went one-on-one with the keeper to slot home with aplomb.
Ajax are now in third place with only one point.
Elsewhere, Real clinched a narrow win over Auxerre, thanks to an Angel Di Maria fierce low shot.
The Argentina ace broke the deadlock in the 81st minute when he was picked out in the area by a precise cross from Mesut Ozil.
Real are now unopposed on top of Group G with six points.
