Inter close in on Milito
Published in FilGoal on 18 - 05 - 2009

Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho confirmed that his club are on the verge of signing Genoa striker Diego Milito starting next season.
The 29-year-old, who rejoined Genoa from Real Zaragoza in the summer, has become a hot property after scoring 20 goals so far this season.
It has been reported that Milito is being eyed by a number of European top clubs, but Mourinho is confident the Argentine is on his way to San Siro.
"Now we can say that Inter are not too far from getting Milito from Genoa, a striker in top form," Mourinho told reporters.

Mou looking to replace Adri
The Portuguese tactician is looking to enforce his attack, after Adriano was released by the club as well as the expected departure of Julio Cruz and Hernan Crespo.
The pair will be out of contract in June and they have become surplus to Mourinho's requirements due to their age. While Cruz is 34-years-old, Crespo is 33.
Changes
Meanwhile, Mourinho confirmed that in addition to Milito, the club need to bring in new faces for next season.

"Now we can say that Inter are not too far from getting Milito from Genoa."
"The way to find balance is to change three or four players who were not crucial and find replacements who are of the same level."
Recent speculations suggested that striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be leaving Inter, but the Swede isn't going anywhere according to the ex-Chelsea tactician.
"Ibra will be with us next season. If we want to be stronger then we have to get those three or four players we lack, but also obviously keep the current ones that make the difference."
