We deserved to win, says Mourinho

Inter coach Jose Mourinho confirmed that his team played good enough to beat Werder Bremen in the UEFA Champions League clash played at San Siro on October 1st.
After taking an early lead through a Douglas Maicon rebound, Claudio Pizzaro snatched a second half equalizer to earn Bremen a valuable away point.
“If there was one team that should have won, I think it was us but football is not like that,” Mourinho was quoted as saying by Calcio Italia after the game.
Mourinho said that despite failing to win he was pleased with his players' performance, adding that he is confident of qualifying to the Champions League next round.
“We played quite well, we created many chances and we could have scored more.”
“We have four points and the next two games against Anorthosis Famagusta won't be easy, but I am 100 per cent certain - not 99 per cent - that Inter will be in the next round.”
Some sections of the Nerazzurri fans made clear they were not happy as the draw comes only three days after Inter lost to arch rivals AC Milan in the Italian league.
“was not upset by the jeers. The public is always right and are the most important element in a football club, so for many years I have learned to respect their opinion,” concluded the Portuguese tactician.
