Italian full back Gianluca Zambrotta joined Barcelona's injury list ahead of Sevilla's clash next Saturday as he has been ruled out with an abductor muscle injury. A statement on the club's website said the player was injured while being on international duty. Olleguer will be the only choice in the right back especially that captain as Carles Puyol is still injured. Manager Frank Rijkaard will have to do without six players as Puyol, Deco, Zambrotta and Bojan Krkic are sidelined with injuries while Ivorian Yaya Toure and Cameroonian Samuel Eto'o are competing in the African Nations Cup. This is while Sevilla had a big boost as striker Frederic Kanoute, who has just been named African Player of the Year, is back to the squad after Mali's early exit from the tournament. The Catalan giants can't afford to lose any more points as they are still dreaming of catching Real Madrid who have a six-point lead on top of the table.
