Published in FilGoal on 19 - 01 - 2007

Awuley Quaye 'Junior' scored twice and dished out an assist to help Zamalek crush Al-Gaish 3-0 at home in the Egyptian League, While Ismaili kept their title hopes alive after beating Petrojet 2-1 on Friday.
The Ghanaian playmaker inspired Zamalek to another win after scoring a decisive last-gasp goal to lead Zamalek to a narrow 2-1 win over Petrojet on Monday.
The victory kept Zamalek in third place of the league table with 39 points while Al-Gaish lie seventh on 27 points.
Junior put the hosts ahead in the 36th minute when he hit a low drive from a free-kick that went through the unorganized wall into the bottom corner of the net.
He doubled the lead just before the break when he scuffed a loose ball after a poor clearance by Al-Gaish keeper Gharib Hafez from Osama Hassan's free-kick before poking home into the empty net.
Mostafa Gaafar ensured the victory 12 minutes after the interval after he latched on to Junior's through pass before firing a powerful shot into the top corner of the net.

Ismaili kept their title hopes alive
Abdul-Halim Ali could have added the third in the 72nd minute as he controlled Hazem Emam's pass inside the area but the bar denied his fierce shot.
Zamalek fans chanted angry slogans against midfielder Moetazbellah Mohamed 'Eno', who replaced Hassan, due to his reported move to arch-rivals Ahli at the end of the season after his contract expires.
Elsewhere, Ismaili kept their title hopes alive after edging Petrojet 2-1 at home.
Alaa Ibrahim's goal for Petrojet three minutes after re-start cancelled out Mohamed Abdul-Wahed's opener early in the third minute before Eid Samir sealed the precious win for Ismaili in the 50th minute.
The Dervishes are second with 41 points, nine behind leaders and defending champions Ahli.
