Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon will not join English champions Chelsea at least until next summer, the player's agent said on Friday. "Gianluigi's very happy at Juventus. He had lots of offers in Italy and elsewhere this summer and turned them down," Buffon's agent Silvano Martina was quoted as saying by Sky Sports Network. "He will obviously be honored if a club like Chelsea was to make an offer for Buffon but I can tell you that he will not leave Turin in January." Another representative of Buffon, Paolo Fabbri, was quoted by The Sun newspaper as saying that Chelsea are interested in acquiring the services of the Italian international after they were hit with a goalkeeping crisis. First-choice Petr Cech has suffered a skull fracture in a Premiership clash against Reading, the injury which will rule him out of action for a lengthy spell.
