Ismailia - Yasser El-Sherif: Egypt and Strasbourg midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou held negotiations to return to his former club Ismaili but the deal is facing difficulties, the player's agent said. "Although we have reached a preliminary agreement with Ismaili officials, the negotiations have stopped," Abd-Rabou agent Samir Al-Sayed told FilGoal.com on Friday. "Ismaili officials refused to include a clause in my client's contract that allows him to terminate it in case he receives a European offer." Ismaili reached an agreement with Strasbourg to sign Abd-Rabou on a three-year contract for a fee of 600,000 Euros and the player was due to receive EGP million in the first season, increasing by EGP 100,000 each year. The 21-year-old midfielder was disappointed at Ismaili officials' attitude which may collapse the deal. "Ismaili should have accepted the clause, it is very normal to include such conditions. I have offers from Cairo duo Ahli and Zamalek but I prefer to play for Ismaili," he said. Abd-Rabou joined French side Strasbourg last summer. Unfortunately, Abd-Rabou missed games due to injury and failed to establish himself before the side was relegated to the second division.
