US Vice President Joe Biden and his wife Jill will visit Egypt, Kenya and South Africa in June, the White House said Friday. Biden will meet Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to talk about “a full range of bilateral and regional issues,” according to an announcement, including a US-brokered meeting between Israel and the Palestinians. In Kenya, the vice president will meet President Mwai Kibaki and Prime Minister Raila Odinga to discuss regional stability, particularly in Sudan and Somalia. In South Africa, Biden is scheduled to meet with that country's leaders and be present at the opening ceremony of the World Cup as well as the first game of the US men's team against England on June 12. The Bidens will travel during the week of June 7.
