The Egyptian authorities will be opening Rafah Crossing, from Saturday until Monday, to allow stranded people on both sides to pass through, according to Egypt's official Middle East News Agency on Friday. In a press statement, an official source at Rafah Crossing said that the Palestinian side had been notified about the opening of the crossing. The official said additional staff and transportation buses had been called in for the next three days. Palestinians returning to Gaza from abroad and those who left for treatment will be allowed to re-enter the Strip, the source said. People with foreign visas, Arab and foreign passports, students abroad, patients with medical references, and other humanitarian cases will be allowed out of Gaza, the source added.
