8 dead in Egypt's Sohag road crash

SOHAG (Upper Egypt) - Eight persons were dead and more than 13 injured on Saturday in an collision on Western Desert Road in the Upper Egypt city of Sohag, the official Middle East News Agency reported.
The driver of a private car was the cause of the collision with a microbus, according to the police. He was killed in the crash.
Five out of the eight dead persons belonged to one family., said the police Road mishaps in Egypt are among the highest in the world.
