RIYADH, July 14, 2018 (MENA) - Spokesman for the Saudi-led Arab coalition to restore legitimacy in Yemen Col. Turki Al-Maliki stated that the Royal Saudi Air Defense intercepted a ballistic missile by the Houthi militia from Sa'ada governorate towards the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Press Agency reported. Col. Al-Maliki said that the missile was launched deliberately to target densely populated areas in Najran. The Royal Saudi Air Defense forces managed to intercept the missile and destroy it, resulting in the fall of fragments throughout some residential areas but no damage was caused, according to Al-Maliki.
