NOUAKCHOTT, July 1, 2018 (MENA) - Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz received a message from his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah El Sisi. This came during the Mauritanian president's meeting with Egyptian Prime and Foreign Affairs Ministers Moustafa Madboli and Sameh Shoukry respectively and Egypt's Ambassador here Maged Nafae Mosleh. In statements to MENA following the meeting, Shoukry said that President Sisi looks forward to visiting the African country. He further stressed the importance of the Egyptian-Mauritanian ties, saying that a joint committee will convene soon. Earlier today, Madboli held talks with his Mauritanian counterpart Yahya Ould Hademine which tackled means of enhancing joint cooperation and African integration in light of the important files on the agenda of the African Union Summit.
