KAZAN, June 30, 2018 (News Wires) - Kylian Mbappe scored a sensational double as France came from behind to beat Argentina 4-3 in a thrilling round-of-16 match in Kazan. The 19-year-old Paris Saint-Germain forward scored twice in four minutes to give his team victory after Didier Deschamps' men had gone 2-1 down in the second half. Antoine Griezmann opened the scoring with a penalty after Mbappe was felled by Marcos Rojo just 13 minutes into the game before Angel Di Maria hit back with a stunning strike from 30 yards just before half-time. Gabriel Mercado deflected a Lionel Messi strike to give Argentina the lead once more in the 48th minute only for Benjamin Pavard to equalise with an equally brilliant long-distance effort. But Mbappe squeezed a shot past Franco Armani in the 64th minute after making space in the penalty box and then latched on to Olivier Giroud's pass shortly afterwards to slot past the keeper once again. A Sergio Aguero strike in stoppage time made for a tense couple of minutes, but France clung on.
