CAIRO, June 25,2018 (MENA) - Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli attended on Monday the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding to boost scientific co-operation between the Higher Education Ministry and the British University of Liverpool. The deal was signed by Higher Education Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Liverpool Professor Dame Janet Beer. In statements following the signing ceremony, the higher education minister said that the MoU aimed at developing a strategic partnership between the Higher Education Ministry and Liverpool University, along with exchanging and training teaching staff and students. He invited Beer to visit Egypt's educational and scientific research institutes to get acquainted with their distinguished human and scientific potentials, particularly Nile University and Zewail City of Science and Technology. The University of Liverpool is one of the UK's leading research-intensive higher education institutions. Consistently ranked in the top 200 universities worldwide, Liverpool is a member of the prestigious Russell Group of the UK's leading research universities, and has a global reach and influence that reflects its academic heritage as one of the UK's largest civic institutions.
