CAIRO, June 3, 2018 (MENA) - The Parliament's general committee lauded the priorities of the national action which have been mentioned in the statement delivered by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi Saturday before the House of Representatives on the occasion of taking the constitutional oath for a second term. This came during the meeting held by the panel on Sunday under Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal to tackle the president's statement. The committee underlined that the aspects of the national action during the second presidential term include focusing on rebuilding the Egyptian citizen on a comprehensive basis at the physical, mental and cultural levels with paying attention to important files such as education, health and culture portfolios. The national action axes will also focus on launching mega projects at the national level besides enhancing Egypt's balanced ties with all international and regional parties within the framework of partnership and exchanging interests. Meanwhile, the general committee approved, during the get-together, the report of the planning and budget panel on the parliament's detailed budget for fiscal year 2018/2019. The general committee hailed the wise leadership of the house and its general secretariat which contributed to achieving financial discipline of the budget.
