By Amina Abdul Salam Cairo, April 18, 2018 - The third meeting of the Higher Committee of Recuperative Tourism was held recently under the Chairmanship of the Minister of Health and Population, Dr Ahmed Emad Eldin. The meeting, which was attended by Governor of South Sinai Khaled Foda, discussed the possibility of establishing a number of bureaus of Recuperative tourism at the airports of Sharm Sheikh, Aswan, Alexandria, the Red Sea and Luxor, in addition to Cairo. Dr Khaled Megahed, Official Spokesman of the Ministry, said the committee had communicated with a number of ambassadors to get acquainted with their demands in relation to the medical services that should be available at these bureaus. Dr Emad Eldin spoke of the need to accelerate the setting up of an electronic site for recuperative tourism in Egypt that would cover medical clinics and hospitals. Some hospitals enjoy international standards. Among them are the hospitals of Sharm el-Sheikh, Zayed, Dar el Shefa International, Luxor, Arment, Aswan and a number of hospitals affiliated to the Armed Forces.
