EU lauds efforts to develop Upper Egypt

CAIRO, April 4 (MENA) - Head of European Union (EU) Delegation to Egypt Ivan Surkoš lauded the Local Development Ministry's efforts to support development in the Upper Egyptian governorates of Qena and Sohag.
Surkoš has said the European Union is ready to share its expertise with Egypt to carry out its sustainable development plans.
This came during Surkoš' meeting with Minister of Local Development Abu Bakr el Gendy on Wednesday.
The meeting highlighted means to boost co-operation and development projects in which the EU participates.
