Vodafone Egypt reports 7.3% revenue growth in 2015's third quarter

Vodafone Egypt reported a 7.3% growth in revenue in the third quarter of 2015, making it the third largest revenue increase for the company in the Middle East and Africa.
The gains in the third quarter came despite a 3.4% decrease in Vodafone Egypt's revenues in the second quarter.
Vodafone fiscal year (FY) annually begins in March.
The company attributed the growth in revenue in the Egyptian market to the increasing popularity of data transfer and voice services. Vodafone Egypt's customers also increased by 6.5% to 38.3 million users. Vodafone Egypt has the highest number of users among the company's national markets.
Vodafone Turkey reported the highest revenue growth among Vodafone Global's international markets with a growth rate of 21.3%, followed by Vodafone Ghana which posted a growth rate 18.1%.
Vodafone Global reported a total revenue growth rate of 1.4%, supported by its revenue increase in Turkey, Ghana, Egypt, South-Africa, India, Romania, and Ireland.
According to the results published by Vodafone Global, the company recorded total revenue of £10.2bn. The control of communications services represents the largest share of revenue, amounting to £9.1bn.
Vodafone Germany posted the largest revenue in Europe, at £1.7bn during the third quarter. Vodafone's revenues in Britain came in second place amounting to £1.4bn, with the support of 3G and 4G services that cover about 84% of its market in Europe.
Vodafone Global's operations in Europe acquired the largest share of total revenues with £6.038bn total revenue reported in the third quarter. Vodafone Global collected £2.9bn from African, Middle Eastern, and Asian Pacific markets.
In the Asia Pacific region, Vodafone India posted the largest revenues, amounting to £1.1bn.
