Last week, the authority offered 5 bids in 3 new cities

The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) will offer two bids for land in Badr City and 10th of Ramadan City, the authority announced on Saturday.
The offerings will take place through a public tender for the companies registered in the Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors (EFCBC).
Mostafa Fahmy, head of Badr City Development Authority, said that the tender will include extending the western road that leads to the Cairo-Ismailia road. Head of 10th of Ramadan Development Authority Adel El-Naggar said that the tender will include the operation, maintenance and security of the lighting network in the city's second phase.
The governmental body announced on 19 October the offering of new bids for a number of services projects.
Last week, Minister of Housing Mostafa Madbouly announced that the Egyptian government, represented by the New Urban Communities Authorities, has set a budget for investing in the New Capital and the 1.5m acres mega projects.
"The government will pump a percentage of the capital while private companies will provide the rest," the minister said.
The minister pointed out that economic entities such as the NUCA have their independent budget, which alleviates the pressure on the general budget.
Head of the Sadat City Authority, Mohamed Ashour, said that two bids will be offered including two nurseries in the city. One of the two nurseries will be established in the 24th and the 28th residential zones of the city, Ashour added. Head of the 15th of May City Authority, Ali Rashad, said that the city will witness the offering of two bids. The bids include works to prepare the 7th and 8th districts alongside the city, Rashad noted. He also added that the tenders include restructuring work on the electric cables in the Friday market on the ring road in 15th of May City.
In May 2015, NUCA had issued seven bids in four cities as part of its framework to develop lands in the 1m housing units for the social housing programme.
