These may be quick and not arranged words, but it pressed on me as I was returning from the field after the victory of the people's revolution. Short notes to all Egyptians and may each of us find themselves in it. At the outset I don't want us to forget in the midst of our joy our fallen brothers who gave their lives for freedom. They fueled the revolution. Not the least to do for them is to build a memorial in the heart of Tahrir Square with their names engraved on it. Rename streets, schools and libraries after them, after it held names of tyrants and corrupt leaders for decades. Give compensation to their families, although no amount of money can be equivalent to their sacrifice. To put those responsible on trial for the murders they have committed and the perpetrators of their killing. Heroes and victims of the revolution The injured also should not be forgotten. Now there are disabilities, both full or partial. There are those who have lost their sight and those who have lost limbs and suffered permanent disabilities that will make it very difficult to get a job; here comes the role of honest people to support in treatment, even abroad, and to provide them with job opportunities. Another idea is to establish a civil group for victims of police violence and offer appropriate compensation to them or to their families. A salute to all mothers and fathers and all Egyptian families that stood behind their youth and protected their back, and who participated themselves in the revolution and joined their young. You reminded us what is an Egyptian family. Reconstruction Egypt's youth still have a lot to do at this stage of reconstruction; we want a clean Egypt. It is now your country. From now on we clean our city, no more waiting for the government to clean our streets, we will keep Egypt as beautiful as we have imagined it to be. Politicians and law men and women have their hands full for the preparation of the new Constitution or even amending the old one to suit the aspirations of the people in the transition towards true democracy, freedom, justice and dignity. They now have great responsibility to make sure that reforms arrive and to implement constitutional and legislative guarantees of judicial independence and separation of powers and the adoption of the principle of accountability and political responsibility. Media that did not take part of the last attempts of propaganda by the old regime, have to work the next period to purge the media of all the old hypocrites and misguided deniers. To the armed forces, we hope that you continue your role wonderfully until power shifts to a civilian government elected by the people at the earliest time. The political game The Muslim Brotherhood also has done a fantastic role through your history as a social movement preaching a social moral code, despite being stuck with the word banned for so long. Today, in a new era, the opportunity came for you to do what you do in the light, according to the rules of the democratic game, wait for your political party, without any religious slogans and seek to achieve justice, dignity and development for all of society, inspired by the experience of the AKP in Turkey in line with the nature of the Egyptian regime and privacy. The MB have proven since the beginning of the revolution that they are able to dissolve into the bigger picture and become team players. You did not use slogans in order to not divide the nation, like everyone else you offered the same sacrifice. May be you could still have your group side by side with a political party but the later must be a civil democratic one to respect the political role of change. Birds of Darkness I would also like to say to all birds of darkness, who did not welcome the revolution since its inception, and who have been associated with the former regime and the convergence of interests for many years; do not try to circumvent the revolution or crush it, it is stronger than you. Try to live in the light, and give up on the corruption that marked your lives. As for the silent majority, time has came to set aside fear, and abandon passivity and indifference and selfishness, teach your sons and daughters freedom and dignity; if you did you go out and you participated since the beginning of the revolution. Morning hope All young people of the revolution: thank you. You have brought us the revival of hope and you have demonstrated the most beautiful in us, You helped Egyptians renounce fears, those of us who did not experience the July Revolution and the October War, we have always believed that we will live and die under a dictatorship. No more. You brought back hope and made us experience great moments we shall tell our sons and grandsons about the white peaceful revolution that history never seen before. Finally, thanks to Facebook and Twitter, Thank you to all foreign and local media, which covered events professionally. Long live freedom … Long live dignity. And Good Morning Egypt. ** Translated by Manar Ammar BM
