GSK to launch new production line for VoltarenEmulgel in Egypt

GSK Consumer Healthcare is inaugurating VoltarenEmulgel semi-solid production line in the SmithKline Beecham manufacturing facility in Giza.
This semi-solid production line is developed to be a state of the art one with best in class technology and design standards and is a solid proof of GSK Consumer Healthcare's confidence in the Egyptian market.
Befitting the importance of such an event, Invitations have been extended to the Egyptian Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Dr Sahar Nasr, the Egyptian Minister of Health Dr. Hala Zayed and The Egyptian Minister of Trade & Industry Dr. Amr Nassar to be in attendance at the ribbon cutting with the British Ambassador to Egypt Sir Geoffrey Adams as GSK Consumer Healthcare officially celebrates this new investment in the Giza site factory.
The event will also witness the attendance of Dr Mohsen Adel the head of GAFI, GSK senior management, and local press as well as other key stakeholders including governmental and non-governmental organisations.
Speaking about the coming week, VP – General Manager GSK Consumer North Africa Mr Nabil Besri says, "This year GSK Consumer Healthcare continues to invest in Egypt and the healthcare community," and pointed to prosperity ahead, "investing in developing production lines, ensuring our brands availability and creating new job opportunities are part of this vision, GSK Consumer Healthcare is investing in Egypt at every level".
