Ireland's Anam seeks investment opportunities in Egypt IT sector

A delegation from Ireland-based Anam Technologies is visiting Egypt to explore investment opportunities in the Egyptian information technology sector.
Asmaa Hosny, CEO of the Egyptian government's Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), received the delegation headed by Noel Kelly, CEO of Anam Technologies to discuss current investment opportunities into the country's IT sector.
The officials discussed means of cooperation and explored possible investment opportunities in technology park projects in Egypt. The Irish company also revealed plans of establishing its centre of excellence in Egypt.
Hosny pointed out that many foreign companies recently approached for new joint ventures in the Egyptian ICT sector. This comes due to their full trust that Egypt has highly qualified human resources in areas like value-added services and software industry.
ITIDA's official also reviewed developments in Egypt's ICT sector in the recent period including the launch of a great number of national projects and initiatives to boost technological learning and electronics industry in Egypt.
She also showcased the package of investment incentives Egypt provides to both local and foreign investors that create an attractive environment for new projects.
