Crystal Lagoons to build first man-made lagoons in Egypt's Sokhna

Egyptian property developer Tatweer Misr has signed Saturday a partnership with Crystal Lagoons Corporation, the multinational developer of the world's largest man-made crystal-clear lagoons.
Upon the partnership deal which was signed on the sidelines of Egypt's largest real estate annual exhibition Cityscape, Crystal shall establish six artificial lagoons worth 100 million Egyptian pounds ($11.3 million) for Tatweer Misr's IL Monte Galala project in Ain Sokhna.
The lakes will be built on a space of 40,000 m2, scheduled to be completed in five years.
The lakes will be the first man-made built across Sokhna mountain, Ahmed Shalaby, Managing Director of Tatweer Misr, said in a press conference to announce the deal on the sidelines of Cityscape Egypt Exhibition.
Each unit in IL Monte Galala is set to overlook the sea and man-made lagoons unprecedentedly created in El-Sokhna area.
