Egypt's Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Sherif El Sherbiny held a meeting on Monday with representatives from a global company specialising in crystal lagoons and wastewater treatment, as per a Cabinet statement. The discussions focused on innovative, eco-friendly methods for developing crystal lagoons without relying on traditional well water, alongside investment opportunities in recreational and tourism activities around these lagoons. El Sherbiny highlighted plans to create a waterfront area south of the International Coastal Road by constructing artificial lakes to enhance land value and attract investment in tourism development. The initiative aims to expand hotel capacity and support the growing number of visitors to Egypt's North Coast in the coming years. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English Subediting: M. S. Salama
