Egypt surpasses global budget transparency standards – FinMin

Egypt surpassed the global average in all indicators related to budget transparency, public participation, and budget oversight, as issued by the International Budget Partnership (IBP), according to Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk.
Over the past decade, the Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with various stakeholders including DCode Economic and Financial Consulting, has worked diligently to enhance transparency and community participation in budgeting processes in Egypt.
