Abdel Raouf Kotb Next President Of African Insurance Organization: Sources

The chairman of the Insurance Federation of Egypt (IFE), Abdel Raouf Kotb, will be named the president of African Insurance Organization for the next term, following Hassan El Sayed, chairman of the Association of the Sudanese Insurance and Reinsurance Companies, sources told Amwal Al Ghad.
Kotb is selected for recognition of his efforts in the 40th annual conference of the African Insurance Organization currently being held in Cairo, sources added.
Sources elaborated that AIO's legal system states that one of the leading insurance officials in the host country of the AIO Conference is selected as president till the next conference is held, noting that AIO's general assembly will determine the hosting country of the next conference during its meeting tonight.
Kotb will take oath as president of AIO which is a ceremonial position during the meeting of the general assembly which will be attended by AIO's members.
It is worth mentioning that the chairmanship of the African Insurance Organization has been transferred from Zambia to Sudan last year.
