Samsung's App Site Unveils Galaxy S IV Mini By Mistake
Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 28 - 05 - 2013

Samsung has not officially rolled out the Galaxy S IV Mini, which is the smaller version of its latest flagship S IV handset. However, TGSpot has spotted the forthcoming smartphone on the official apps site of the South Korean company.
According to the report users can search apps on Samsung's app site by checking their compatibility with a specific mobile device. Therefore, Samsung has listed its devices by photo and picture, so users could easily recognise a device. And TGSpot has found the Galaxy S IV Mini listed among those devices.
Samsung has not taken off the Galaxy S IV Mini picture from its app site, and TGSpot took advantage of the opportunity by grabbing a screenshot of the page, which is clearly showing the upcoming device. The screenshot has also revealed the model number of Galaxy S IV Mini that is GT-I9195.
Samsung was able to keep the 5-inch Galaxy S IV a secret for a long time, as none of its leaked images surfaced online until two days before its launch. However, that was not the case when it came to Galaxy S IV Mini, as the leaked images of the handset made their way to the internet just a few days after Korean manufacturer announced the S IV in New York. Since then, Galaxy S IV Mini has made several appearances.
In fact, supposed specs of the device are also out. It seems that Samsung is not in a hurry to make the S IV Mini available for sale, as currently it is focusing on the 5-inch beast that has already surpassed 10 million sales mark within one month after its release.
Rumour has it that Galaxy S IV Mini will boast a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display, 1.6GHz processor, 8-megapixel rear camera and the alleged Exynos 5210 chipset. However, this would not be the first time that Samsung will introduce a smaller version of its flagship smartphone, as previously it has introduced a 4-inch variant of Galaxy S III, which sports a 1 GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 processor, 5-megapixel rear camera, Super AMOLED screen and lot more. Galaxy S III Mini was made available for sale during the last quarter of 2012.
Nevertheless, it appears that unlike S III Mini, Samsung will launch the S IV Mini before the fourth quarter, but such rumours are yet to be confirmed by the Korean OEM that rolls out numerous Android smartphones every year.
