Epson Kicks-Off Event To Familiarize Partners In Egypt & Region
Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 21 - 03 - 2012

Epson has announced that it has today (Wednesday, March 21, 2012) commenced its two-day ‘Epson Solution Event' at Atlantis The Palm, Dubai, gathering more than 80 partners from Egypt and the region for a presentation of new technologies in the Wide Format Printing/Scanning segment. Epson is presenting 11 new products in this category, including the Sure Colour 30610 wide format printer, UltraChrome GS2 and Stylus Pro GS 6000 boardless printer.
Designed from the ground up to offer efficient and environmentally friendly production at the lowest total cost of ownership, the Sure Colour 30610 enables print firms, sign-makers, digital copy shops and repro centres to expand their service offering. The Epson Stylus Pro GS6000, on the other hand, features the new UltraChrome GS ink, which is capable of achieving an extremely wide color gamut. The new adaptation kit for the Epson Stylus Pro GS6000, which is available both as an on-site upgrade for existing GS6000 customers and as an option on new purchases, enables users to produce wide format borderless inkjet prints, catering to the growing demand for signage and POS applications for interior decoration such as customised wallpapers and window graphics.
Shihab Zubair, Business Development Manager, Epson Middle East, said: “Epson has introduced a new range of wide format printing and scanning solutions that are more responsive to the emerging needs of our customers. The new products also deliver greater environmental benefits and have been specially engineered to be more user-friendly while maintaining superior printing and scanning performance. The Epson Solution Event is part of our continuing efforts to pass on the technical skills and knowledge to our partners, enhancing their level of competency in marketing Epson's printing solutions and providing value-added customer support in the region."
