As part of its leading role in supporting the development of the Islamic financial industry, ahlibank, the leading financial institution in the Sultanate of Oman is the Titanium Sponsor off the upcoming 1st Muscat International Islamic Finance Forum (MIIFF).
The two days event, organised by Amanie Advisory House of Oman at the Al Bustan Palace, A Ritz — Carlton Hotel, on November 4 and 5, will bring together senior industry figures, global investors, Takaful operators, and bankers, as well as top Sharia scholars.
Commenting on the event, Abdullah al Jabri (pictured), Deputy General Manager, said, “ahlibank's support to this important conference is an opportunity to showcase the role played by the bank as a well-established institution contributing to building and development of Islamic Industry in the Sultanate of Oman. As a leader in the Islamic Banking Industry in Oman we are keen on bringing to the forefront current key issues, trends and developments taking place within the Islamic banking and finance industry. Islamic finance professionals as well as potential Islamic banking consumers attending the conference will benefit tremendously on many levels, and will gain insights and experience from the scholars and pioneers of this industry."
In January this year, ahlibank had launched its Al Hilal Islamic Banking services logo and the bank has also organised a series of customised Islamic banking courses for its staff with the aim to continue offering the high-quality services that the bank is renowned for.
Ahlibank's Al Hilal Islamic banking services will offer a vast variety of Sharia-compliant banking solutions to different regions of the Sultanate through an initial network of six branches. The bank has been working round-the-clock to ensure that its Islamic banking services will lead the way in the field in Oman.
“We are optimistic that ahlibank's Al Hilal Islamic Banking Services will have a positive impact on Oman's Islamic banking sector.
And we will remain firm on our commitment — to be true and transparent to our customers in fulfilling their demands and the government's vision for the development of the Islamic banking," Al Jabri further added.
